Detox Recovery in the Blue Mountains

After a full day of debauchery, shenanigans, gambling, and kabaabs, or better known as Anzac's Day, my friend Matt and I decided what better way to detox then the great outdoors. We drove 2 hours outside of Sydney to the Blue Mountains, one of New South Wales biggest hiking attractions. The weather was perfect with the sun shining, crisp cool autumn air, and changing leaves. The first hike we did was the Charles Darwin walk which ended at Wentworth Falls. It was a mellow walk of which I expected nymphs and mystical creatures to pop out of the bushes and fairies flying in the trees.
The second hike was the big mother. We started at Echo Point where the Three Sisters (rock) is. I'm not going to lie, some of the "view points" were really terrifyingly high up. But it was well worth the sights. We hiked to Leucadia Cascades, which in total was about 6 km. After that we were exhausted, hungry, and on the verge of delusion.

It was well worth the efforts though and I can't complain about getting out of the city and enjoying some good old fashioned QT with nature and good people.
